Our Fort Lauderdale fishing charters are offering smaller catch numbers but a reasonable variety of fish species. Dorado continue to be few in numbers but we are seeing them mostly off the edge in water over 250 feet deep. Wahoo are a possibility can be found under floating debris as well as in the open ocean. Kingfish from the reef out to 170 feet or so lately. Some Blackfins in water ranging from 200 to 500 feet.Very few Sailfish biting even though the water conditions have been favorable. Fishing on the bottom has been best recently as the surface and near surface fishing has been up and down.

Our weather continues to be great with clear skies today and cooler with about 55 degrees early this morning but it is up into the low 70s now.

Pictured is a Blackfin Tuna that bit a trolled Bonito Strip and feathered jig bait in 350 feet of water.
