Pretty nice weather here with projected daily highs in the mid 70 degree range, plummeting all the way down into the mid 60 area at night for the next few days. There will be some passing showers so the weather isn’t perfect, just “pretty nice”. Actually very nice ( extremely nice? ) considering how so many areas of the country are literally getting hammered almost senseless recently.

Beautiful ocean today. One to two foot seas and bright blue water almost to the beach. Strong south current and loads of baitfish. And yet the fishing on our Fort Lauderdale fishing charters continues to remain tough. Hammering away with different approaches has yielded some very nice fish such as the Sailfish pictured here with their anglers. We have had some nice Mahi-Mahi and Wahoo too. But overall the fishing is oh so difficult to produce any good numbers for our anglers.

So similar to our last  report we will continue to chip away at the rock so to speak and hopefully capitalize on our opportunities when we get those now precious bites.

Enjoying the warm if a bit occasionally drizzly weather, and very much enjoying spending time offshore hunting fish with our anglers, but here’s to good weather and good fishing in the same sentence please.

Good fishing to all from all of us here aboard the Marlin My Darlin boats. Rick, Matt, Tommy K, Nate, JJ, Cameron and Allen. See you offshore.
