The weather continues to be very favorable for our Deep Sea fishing charters in Fort Lauderdale. Almost no wind early in the day and then a slight breeze off the ocean as we work through the day. Our A/C units are getting daily use for some time now as there is no doubt that summer is here. Those welcome breezes do take a good bite out of the heat. The fishing along the reef lines remains pretty hot as well.

Some Sailfish continue to prowl along the edges of the reef and good sized Blackfin Tuna there too. Both trolling and live baiting has drawn strikes. When we live bait in those general depths we often in addition slide something fresh with a high content of oil and/or bloodiness. We are still in the time frame where the migratory Shark season continues. Fishing the bottom on the reefs and structure has produced Amberjacks and Mutton Snappers. Fishing out deep has continued good for the Golden Tile Fish. Fishing off the edge for Mahi-Mahi continues iffy, but as always finding something floating amidst the huge amounts of seaweed can put some fish in the box. Always a chance for Wahoo beneath and in the immediate vicinity of “floaters”.

Included with this report as always are photographs of anglers who ave joined us here on charters aboard Marlin My Darlin along with the various species of fish mentioned in this report. Tight lines and good fishing, bring those kids!
