No Hurricane, sunny skies and good fishing

We were very fortunate here in that Hurricane Dorian spared us her wind and the majority of her rain, passing instead above and offshore of us. Our Marlin My Darlin boats are back at their assigned docks and we have been actively fishing. It is very nice to be back offshore in pleasant conditions and we got through this with nary a single scratch. We are seeing good action and catches on our Deep Sea fishing charters here in Fort Lauderdale and we have been back fishing for several days now.
There have been Kingfish along the reef lines and fishing to the south of our inlet has proven best. In between the King bites there have been fat summer Bonito continuing to pass through our area. These fish are making their way up to the Northeast ( as in New England areas) where they are a primary species of many anglers and charters specifically targeting them for their explosive bites and strong fights. Good fun, not so good on the table. Blackfin Tuna continue to be available here and just off the reefs edges many days. Good fun and awesome on the table. Decent snapper bite and some Sailfish in the area. Please enjoy the photos of some of the recent anglers who have joined us here aboard Marlin My Darlin. Tight lines and here’s to good fishing in Fort Lauderdale, or wherever you may be wetting a line. JJ
