Summer literally seems to be flying by with June now very much behind us and August only a couple of weeks out in front of us. We are fishing every day and have enjoyed some very nice South Florida summer days. And the fishing remains decent, which is expected this time of year and happily accepted. Good number of Kingfish along the reef lines, and almost all of legal size. As expected most days give our anglers a shot at some tasty Blackfin Tunas, a personal favorite of mine. Seeing some whopper summer Amberjacks on wrecks. Grouper catching has been slow but the tackle testing Jacks have been piling on the baits we have been dropping on wrecks more than the Groupers this past week. Couple of pics of those with this Ft. Lauderdale fishing report. Some Mahi around but sketchy, a few Sails and Wahoo. Good numbers of summer Bonito in  the mix as expected and often good numbers of Sharks on or very near the reefs and wrecks helping themselves to some of the Bonito and Kings that we have hooked. The “Taxman” has been active and hungry. Enjoy the photos of anglers and fish that have joined us recently for a fishing charter in Ft. Lauderdale. Tight lines and good fishing to all of you from all of us here @ Marlin My Darlin. See you on the rip.
