If you own your boat here in South Florida this is a great time to get offshore and enjoy some spectacular weather and wet those lines. As you see in the photos we have been seeing some Wahoo, Sailfish, Blackfin Tunas and scattered Mahi-Mahi on our fishing charters in Ft. Lauderdale. Typical Winter trends and patterns are now pretty much in place every day. Some of those trends being an abundance of Ballyhoo on near shore reefs. The fish are drawn close to and on top and even at times inshore of these reefs by the abundance of not just the Ballyhoo but other bait fish as well. Some Kings in there too. Now through the winter often means clearer cleaner water. Typical fishing for this time of year with fluctuating catches, but there have been some nice fish available.
