This will be our final report of the year about what is happening on our fishing charters in Ft. Lauderdale. So we’ll take a second to wish everyone a happy, healthy and prosperous upcoming year as we put 2020 in the rear view mirror. So here’s to looking forward to 2021 as although we have had some good fish there continue to be difficult days. Some Sails around but certainly scattered. Live Ballyhoo have been best for us quite possibly as they have allowed us to cover more ground and try various depths. Picking some school sized Kings along the reef edges. Some Blackfin Tunas off the edge but the larger schools that were so busy working the bait over have moved on. Doing some extra bottom fishing and Amberjacks and some snappers on the wrecks. So every day pretty much has the opportunity to score a memorable fish such as a Sail, Wahoo or large “Smoker” sized Kingfish, but some days are downright tough to find the right combination. It is accurate to say the fishing is all over the charts right now, but it is also pretty much accepted that a tough day on the water is better than a good day at the office. Get those kids out there, good numbers of small fish around just the right size for children, and keep the fingers crossed, there could be a fatty out there for you. Enjoy the photos. Happy New Year to all.
