And into October we go. A bit of wind for a couple of days chopped it up offshore but not nearly enough to stop the fleet from fishing. That wind has presently subsided and we continue to totally evade that really big wind we all dread as the hurricanes, although many, have taken paths that have kept us unscathed. Happily unscathed. Decent weather and decent fishing. Quite a few photos of recent anglers included with this report on our fishing charters in Ft. Lauderdale. King, Tunas, Mahi-Mahi, numerous large Barracudas,a couple of more Sailfish, Bonito and we had a couple of days of good Wahoo catches. And a fine catch and release Shark for 11 year old Ally in that one picture fishing with her family. We continue to troll for the bulk of our charters and live bait only occasionally for pelagics, but almost exclusively live bait when targeting larger bottom fish. But seasons change and with them the fishing trends change as well and soon some of those live baits will be spending their time being presented closer to if not directly on the surface. Always book directly with Capt. Rick @ 954-778-8173. 7 AM-9PM please. That’s EST.
Thanks, tight lines from all of us here @ Marlin My Darlin
