As the first week of 2022 draws to a close we continue to be blessed with good weather and good ocean conditions for or fishing chrters as well. Very comfortable days now as what seems to be the entire rest of the country has poor if not horrible weather this week. We have had some very nice fish but we have also struggled with catches on some charters. This is not unusual for this time of year and the roller coaster ride of actual catches will continue to fluctuate for awhile. We very much look forward to frontal systems here in South Florida as often a fishing charter in Ft. Lauderdale is tied closely to the passing frontal systems. The flip side of fishing in Ft. Lauderdale or for that matter almost anywhere is the fronts typically bring an uptick in the wind. So we trade a typical sea condition for one bringing a little bounce. Sometimes more than a little bounce. So we chip away at what the ocean gives us with good catches and not so good catches and ourselves are readily accept a little bounce with the hope of more opportunities at fish. Fun either way when you love the water, any water fresh or salt, and the company and spending the day on the hunt. Please enjoy the photos of recent anglers who have joined us here aboard Marlin My Darlin. Just like the fishing, big ones and not so big ones. Bring the kids, make some family memories, little people fit just fine here along with us big people.
