November has proven to be an exceptional month for the Marlin My Darlin fleet, with outstanding fishing experiences that are not to be missed. Over the past few weeks, we have witnessed remarkable catches of Wahoos coupled with a strong Sailfish bite, making this a thrilling time for anglers. Shallow waters have also yielded several smaller Mahi-Mahi, providing additional excitement for those venturing out before the holiday season.
Kite fishing has been particularly fruitful, leveraging the early arrival of cold fronts that have driven Sailfish, Mahi-Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, and Wahoos into our waters. This technique, employing live bait, is highly recommended, especially in favorable conditions.
While trolling typically sees a slight slowdown in winter, earlier in the month yielded some notable catches of larger Wahoos, Sailfish, and King Mackerel, affirming its effectiveness as a fishing strategy.
Offshore, the Mahi-Mahi fishing has been less active, with most fish being found inshore along the reef, although some smaller schools were encountered during our offshore excursions. Conversely, Swordfish fishing has been outstanding, offering both daytime and nighttime charters with excellent success rates.
Shark fishing remains popular, with a variety of species spotted, including Sandbar and even a Great White. All sharks are released in accordance with Florida regulations, emphasizing our commitment to conservation. Bottom fishing has also been productive, with ample Snappers and Groupers available.
In summary, November has been a remarkable month for fishing, and we eagerly anticipate an even better December. To experience the thrill of Fort Lauderdale fishing, contact us at
