Fishing charters Ft. Lauderdale mid March

And in what seems to be a blink of the eye we are halfway through March. True Chamber of Commerce weather as day after day is in the mid to upper 80s with no rain and pleasant sea conditions for our fishing charters in Ft. Lauderdale. Blackfin Tunas, Bonito on or near the surface and large Amberjacks down deep on the wrecks. We have had some Mahi and Wahoo as well. Sailfish remain iffy in this area. Reasonable numbers of sharks in the area but we had a trip with sharks on the wish list but couldn’t make it happen. And there are again days mixed in with good catch days that the fishing can be tough no matter what you target. As we move into the later days of March and into April and May there should be fewer lumps in the road. Proper Ft. Lauderdale fishing attire as we work through March will continue to be t shirts, shorts and a hat as it has been for at least the past month. Old man Winter never really stopped by (yet?). Working on our tans and catching a few. See you on the edge. Enjoy the photos of some of our anglers here @ Marlin My Darlin.
